This 1874 sq ft home has survived both the 1900 Storm and Hurricane Ike that landed in 2008. This home features hardwood floors, large rooms, and a fenced in backyard that screams relaxation and entertainment! Upon entering the 2 story home, the living area is immediately to the left and has a flat screen TV, connected to surround sound and a Blue Ray player that connects to the internet. Guests have access to unlimited movies, documentaries and TV shows through Netflix and Amazon on-demand. Continuing on through to the dining area there is a large dining table with enough seating for 8. This room is nestled between the living area and kitchen to grab the best of both worlds, whether gathering for a meal or playing games and conversing. Toward the back of the house, the long kitchen is fully equipped with all the dinner and cookware you will need to prepare that gourmet meal. There is a bistro style table with seating for 2 by the window overlooking the backyard to enjoy that morning cup of coffee. Off to the left of the Kitchen is a ½ bath and laundry room. This home located in heart of Galveston’s Historical District and is in walking distance to the historic Strand, local restaurants and art galleries on Post Office street.
